Как по мне - оптимальный способ - посмотреть как это делает сам z2m
То есть подписаться на его топик (топики) и из его же интерфейса вызвать.
Для примера, кликаю на Apply:

Но, похоже что отправляется сразу весь набор. Не уверен, есть ли возможность задавать отдельно значения.
